Hm. I actually think that LDP touches on an important point -- and
one which CTP takes advantage of. That is, the fact that the protocol
can discover as well as estimate links (as opposed to ack-based
estimates). On the other hand, there technically aren't *links* in a
broadcast-based wireless network. Maybe
NDEP: Neighbor Discovery and Estimation protocol
