During the TTX Q/A session, a lot of participants expressed interest
in Zigbee. You and Martin have brought this up as an important area to
consider as well. However, net2 did not undertake Zigbee as its first
project because it was important to get the basic and simple protocols
in T2 in time for the release.
It seems that Zigbee implementation will take significantly more
effort than the first project. There is a possibility that folks from
ISEP-IPP might be available for some 15.4/Zigbee related work on
TinyOS. Along with some members of this group, if Crossbow and Moteiv
are willing to provide some volunteer hours towards this effort, we
might have enough momentum to do a reasonable implementation and
testing.

The current meeting time is at 9am for precisely that reason. We will
try our best to accommodate if someone wants to call from Europe.
