Hello all,

The following topics report the status of the Open-ZB implementation. I 
am working on a telosb version of the implementation and on stabilizing 
the network layer implementation. It will be available soon on the 
www.open-zb.net website.
Currently the implementation works on TinyOS 1.x, but we can reuse some 
of the code in a TinyOS 2.0 implementation (I am evaluating that).

Network layer functionalities implemented:

    * SAP interfaces
    * Beacon enabled mode
    * Association - ZigBee addressing schemes
    * Tree-routing

IEEE 802.15.4 functionalities implemented

    * SAP interfaces
    * CSMA/CA
    * GTS
    * Beacon Management
    * MAC PIB management
    * ED and PASSIVE Channel Scan

Next Steps

    * Porting the current implementation efforts to TOS 2 (timing
      depends on the differences between 1.x and 2.0, currently I have
      no experience with TOS 2)
    * After we have something working on TOS 2 we should try to divide
      the implementation efforts into separate areas in order to make
      future interactions/collaborations easier.
