For our group presentation at TTX, here are the topics we would like to cover:
Released/supported protocols (Collection/Dissemination/Deluge):
1. Collection
- CTP updates, particularly 4-bit link estimator
- MultiHopLQI, a low footprint collection protocol
- Experimental comparisons with MultiHopLQI
2. Dissemination
- Drip TEP
- Deluge now uses Drip
3. Deluge
- What it is, the types of testing we have done
(Note, we are introducing Deluge for the first time)
Protocols in beta stage
1. DIP
- What are the experimental plans and timeline for moving this to release
Protocols in alpha/pre-alpha stage
1. ZigBee
- Considering the lack of cycles available for this project, should we
keep this as a pre-alpha project or drop it? If we keep it, what are
the plans?
2. 6lowpan
- The current status and plans for moving to beta stage.
3. TyMO
- Plans for moving to beta stage
I propose this nomenclature to describe the status of various net2 projects:
Supported/released - the code has been tested extensively by at least
two different wg members, tested on at least two hardware platforms,
there is at least one of user documentation/manual/TEP describing the
protocol. The protocol preferably also works on simulation and comes
with a set of files to do the simulation.
Beta - Some non-trivial testing has been done, at least one hardware
platform. The code has been committed to tos/lib/net/projectname. Test
programs are also available.
Alpha - The code compiles, the design seems sound, some simple test
cases on at least one hardware platform
