[net2-wg] blip on core vs contrib

I was going to remove it and put a pointer to core once 2.1.1 is
finalized.  I don't think there's any point supporting it, which means
there's not much point maintaining it there.  If people were using old
releases, they should still have the snapshot and otherwise it would
only be for historical interest...
