Another toolset issue (AVR only): do we want to update to a more
recent avr-libc (we're using one from May 2003)?

Problem: a lot of the stuff we're using from it is now deprecated
and/or removed. So there would need to be a bunch of changes in
platform/mica*

We should probably switch for 2.0. Not sure for 1.2. Not sure how
people using both would deal with this (i.e., us ;-))
