These are the things we need to complete for the 2.0 release, with  
the associated names:

1) Deluge (Prabal + Jonathan)
2) Sensor boards (Crossbow)
3) Surge-like app (Stanford)
4) Radio power management* (?)
5) McuPowerManagement** (platform czars)
6) Tutorials*** (?)
7) Radio metadata (David C)

* This means a useful approach to powering the radio. Currently you  
have to do so explicitly, which is annoying when you use high-level  
services. We need either a reference counting or service-instance  
approach (as in the now defunct OSKI).

** Need to test that it works properly for different configurations.

With regards to tutorials, currently we only have 1-5. 6 is mostly  
there, but is very short. We still need tutorials on:

Storage
Power management
Concurrency
Platforms
Network protocols
SDK

I wrote much of 1-5 (Prabal wrote #3) and have the programming manual  
on my plate, so generally refuse to do the rest of them. We need a  
volunteer or volunteers... After my experiences trying to get some  
students up to speed with the pre-beta2 tutorials, I think this can  
be a total show-stopper.
