(Following up on call for WG review before sending to SC.)

109 either needs to do one of things things:
  1) state that sensor readings are left-shifted
  2) state that the sensor readings are right shifted (no padding on  
the right)
  3) Add a call to the DeviceMetadata interface that tells you the  
most significant bit in addition to the number of significant bits.

IIRC, the blocking item on 109 was whether it would work with Jan's  
revision of 101. The notes aren't clear: has that occurred?
