Yeah; it doesn't mean that 103 won't work (at some point the global  
name goes to a single chip). But it does mean that a chip MUST have a  
chip-specific name for its abstraction.

That would work. Another part of this is perhaps modifying chip  
implementations so that you can pass names in; otherwise, if you have  
two of the same chip, you're in trouble.
