Interesting. It would be cool to know whether they actually run a  
stripped down VM (e.g., squawk-like) or translate Java programs into  
some intermediate format for actual mote execution. Of course, that's  
probably a boundary they want to keep flexible, and having a higher- 
level programming interface makes it much easier to do so.
