Here's what I've been up to...
CC1100/CC2500 DRIVERS:
* Actively being developed, dubbed "Blaze" to keep the name short,
encompassing all compatible radios.
* Project repository is being kept in tinyos-2.x-contrib/blaze, with
corresponding unit tests in tinyos-2.x-contrib/tunit/tests/...
* Receive, Transmit, and Control branches are operational
* Will finish and validate software acknowledgements and CSMA by the end
of the week.
* Targeting both ActiveMessage and SP interfaces
UNIT TESTING:
* TUnit is operational, with some quirks to our setup right now. We've
been in a perpetual state of transition, lab space wise, for a few weeks now
which has prevented us from nailing down a few issues.
* Not ready to announce TUnit until it's 100% ready. I know of 2-3 bugs
that I haven't had time to fix.
* I wasn't able to get TUnit to run reliably for an extended period of
time on fedora core 5. This was not a TUnit problem, this was a serial/USB
driver problem. If you were to do development on FC5 you probably wouldn't
notice it, but when you try to continually load and interact with the
serial/USB ports on FC5 it eventually fails (even bsl). So, we're running
TUnit on some Windows XP boxes and it's a lot more reliable.
