[Tinyos Core WG] 2.1 safe testing

Well. I have mica2, mica2dot and telosb. But no micaZ. If someone can
sponsor us one/two micaZ (or as a matter of fact any other hw platform) we
can set up automated download and execution of all the cruisecontrol builds
for these platforms too. At the moment this is only done on tmote and
tinynode (and there are not yet checks performed on the execution
traces/output).
An execution "check" could be done either by a tunit integration, or by an
output of a trigger pin or serial port data to our testbed. A sample of what
this can look like can be seen here:

the "permadozer" app is a multihop LP app that is run on our testbed for 10
min following each build.

To give a little more detail on Safe TinyOS: we're giving top priority
to the applications Jan compiles in cruisecontrol:
- BaseStation
- Blink
- MOscope
- Null
- Oscope
- Powerup
- RadioCountToLeds
- RadioSendToLeds
on three platforms: mica2, micaz, telosb. All of these compile and
things are looking good for running them but we're still testing. I
expect that plenty of other applications work in safe mode but we
haven't been testing them.
John
