Folks,

Here is a proposed agenda for the first meeting.

11:00 - 11:10 Welcome introductions
11:10 - 11:25 Working Group Charter
11:25 - 11:40 Goals of the Alliance
11:40 - 11:55 Candidate Example Organizations, Pros/Cons trade-offs
11:55 - 12:00 Review actions, next steps, meeting schedules

I will prepare a draft position to facilitate discussion on each topic, 
but I don't want to bias people's thinking too heavily by sending out 
too much detail in advance of the discussion. 
I've attached some slides that I put together before Sensys that look at 
a broader organization.  I think that you will find it interesting to 
see how the goals of various similar organizations have translated into 
legal structure, membership policy, organizational structure, IP 
position, and financial plan.  I placed the discussion of charter ahead 
of that of goals so that we would define our boundaries before we 
started staking out positions on the direction that the alliance should 
head.  Please think about the latter, as we will want to get the set of 
possible directions on the table.
