I like the wide scope of David's statement. I do not feel strongly about
this though.

I am still not sure baout putting education in the wording, in addition to
the pormotion. 
FOr the sake of discusssion I include here an alternative wording..

continued advancement of the open embedded network technology,
and application ecosystem around the TinyOS.
The corporation will support interactions within the wordwide
adcedemic and industrial TinyOS community, and promote the 
usage of TinyOS technologies.
