[Tinyos-alliance] Fwd: Alliance permission to use a modified logo

Actually, "branding" of the TinyOS alliance may become important down
the line for legal reasons - if you do not protect your brand you
stand a chance to lose it. TinyOS Alliance might want to consider
getting an official logo and having it trademarked. That way we
prevent, say, someone from selling CDs, books, tshirts, mugs, or
fanny-packs with the TinyOS logo on them that are not officially
endorsed.
