matt,
i like the charter. two issues:
- focussing on "significant" scale is fine, but it should really be an open
discussion starting at the single node. at least that is where the
development and testing starts. one node (the compile test), two nodes (the
connectivity test), ten nodes (the maybe it works test) and XXXX nodes mixed
in and outdoor ... (yes - we really nailed the thing...)
- often, infrastructure and services needed to run a testbed are similar to
"base-station" infrastructure on real deployments, e.g. you have an access
node, a more powerfull computing entity and some server/DB backend... so we
should make clear where the "testbed ends" and where the real deployment
starts. or is this is a fluid boundary?
