It's in TinyOS 2.x.

I tried to measure some telosb (Berkeley, Crossbow, and Moteiv  
versions), but it looks like my ftdi driver in Ubuntu doesn't  
recognize them. Others have had success, so it might be my version.   
Not sure if I'll have time to look into this deeply, though.
