This paper is not TinyOS based but reports many of the issues and benefits
of a frequency hopping radio system.
http://www.dragonnorth.com/IEEESensicastGEmarch04.pdf Some of the concepts
and methods are covered by a Sensicast patent.

Subject: [Tinyos-devel] channel selection

Hi,

I am trying to exploit the multiple radio channels present in mica2 and
Telos radios. Does anyone knows any relevant contribution of low-cost
dynamic channel selection to improve the channel utilization and maybe
reduce collision in sensor-nets? This area seems to be little investigated,
is there a main reason for it?

regards

Antonio
