Ah, you mean the tools i686 RPM? This starts to get tricky, as  
technically it can be installed on either an i386 or an x86_64  
machine: it has both the 32-bit and the 64-bit JNI libraries, as it  
may be you have a 64-bit machine with a 32-bit JVM. So that's the  
rub: it doesn't depend on your architecture, but rather what JVM you  
have.

What exactly was your problem with installing tools 1.2.4?
