[Tinyos-devel] Question about parameterized interfaces

I'm trying to use a parameterized interface to supply a client id
to a central power manager component I'm writing for a sensor
array.

All the examples I've looked at seem to be wrapped inside of
a generic module.  I've tried various ways that don't use the
generic module but nothing I've done compiles.

Is the only way to get parameterized interfaces to instantiate is
via first a generic interface?
