There's no question we to continue to support Cygwin. My guess is that  
what we'll do is roll out 2.1 for Linux, then follow up with all of  
the Cygwin packages 1-2 days later.

I think the benefit of ease-of-use and installation simplicity of  
VMWare player outweighs the open source fuzziness of Xen. It's  
intended to be a trivial way for someone running Windows to install a  
complete, working TinyOS environment. Someone who wants to use Xen can  
probably just install TinyOS on their Xen image. That being said, if  
someone made a Xen image and instructions on how to use it, adding  
instructions to the wiki would be very easy...
