I have never tried to run make iris docs from the apps directory. I
have tried it out and it almost worked, I had some problem with some
application which on the CVS do not build. For instance
apps/tutorials/BlinkConfig and apps/tutorials/Printf. I have patched
the Printf makefile and it now works, while for BlinkConfig it seems
that StorageVolumes.h is missing.

For Printf I have replaced the 2nd line of Makefile with:
CFLAGS += -I$(TOSDIR)/lib/printf/2_0_2/
