i copied the CIL_MACHINE from mica2/.platform to mica2dot/.platform in
order to enable a compile with safe on. can you have a look to see if it
needs any more than my plain old copy paste? to me it seemed like a
straightforward thing, but if you'd rather revert i can turn off the
safe compilation for mica2dot too!
