Hi Guys,
There is a guy who would like to have SendNotifier for IRIS
implemented. We have brought up this on the core wg, but would like to
have your imput whether the SendNotifier interface should be
implemented in all radio stacks or it is specific to the CC2420 stack.
Does anyone uses this interface for other purposes than debugging? For
me the semantics are not clear.
Best,
Mikos

Dear Miklos,
my system is running CTP as the routing protocol. I also need a
timestamp indicating the time when every packet was created. After
evaluating some time synchronization protocols, I prefered using the
TimeSyncAMSend interface to compute the total time taken by the packet
to reach the base from the node where it was created.
For this purpose I had to modify the CTP protocol, that took me some
time and now, when there is any problem with the protocol I don´t know
if it is my fault or the protocol itself.
If I had the senderNotifier interface i would not need to modifythe
whole CTP protocol, but just every packet after being sent by CTP and
before they are actually sent by the physical layer.
Hope I have made myself clear, thanks and best regards,
Ignacio.
