It's not possible - the syntax would have to be changed (basically
attributes are allowed where gcc allowed __attribute__, plus a few
places I added like modules/configurations - enum constants weren't
one of those). If you make a good enough argument for it, it could be
added for 1.3.1 ;-) (and it might make sense to figure out if there's
other places that might want them added)
