[Tinyos-help] how to dectect the buzzer tone with the mic in mts310

hi!
I want to do a test on two mica2 motes with mts310.
mote1 buzzs every 2 seconds and mote2 try to detect the tone.
I use the event "MicInterrupt.toneDetected()"in the app of mote2.
but I was bewildered by the unpredictable situation that "if I invoke
MicInterrupt.enable () before MicInterrupt.toneDetected() ,the event will be 
signaled in no time even if the mts310 is  removed from mote2.In contrast,if I
don't invoke MicInterrupt.enable (),MicInterrupt.toneDetected() will never be
signaled when mote1 is buzzing ."

who can tell me why and what should I do?
