OK, added export MANPATH=$MANPATH:/usr/man
to my .bashrc so that should help.
I'm looking at the man page now, but am not seeing why it's looking at exe
files only, even despite --srec switch.

Well it looks like it's /usr/man which isn't in your man path then,
no? As to why that's the case... (maybe SUSE doesn't include it?)
