Well, I read http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-1.x/doc/install-from-src.txt, and in the first section it is stated, that one has to uninstall cygwin and the avr-gcc.

My problem is, that I need these versions, as I have also some other projects running a AVR (but no tinyos).

My question are,
 - is there a documentation about the gcc's patches for TinyOS.
 - is the gcc-patch backward compatible to "ANSI C"
 - is the avrlibc compatible to the patch
 - what version of the gcc is the patch based on?

Sorry about this question, but I'm on a productive system and cannot just simply "try out". (Unfort. I have to use Win, so chroot is not an option ;-( )
