[Tinyos-help] about the mag sensor on MSP410

hi ,all !

  --1--
  anyone own the experiment with the mag sensor on msp410??
  --2--
  does the mag sensor need much time to sample data ??

firstly, i write a  program for MSP410 that start up a timer in 100ms
and just sample pir data.OK, i just get sample data which is  9.70 times per
second.
  and later, i change my program:it sample the pir and mag data and others
are same with former. But, i get sample data which is 3.72 times per second
only !!

anyone could tell me why??
