[Tinyos-help] Received Packet Power Consumption

I have been looking, and haven't found an answer, for whether there is a
difference in power consumption of a mote (mica2 in this case) if it
receives a packet that is intended for it, or if it decodes a packet
that has a destination which is not intended for it (in other words, it
only decodes the header of the packet, and consumes a fraction of the
power of decoding the entire packet).
I have a feeling that it decodes 100% of packets which it hears the
start byte for, but I am not sure. I get the impression that how a
packet is received is:
1. RF power of signal is above a threshold
2. Power is turned up on the antenna amplifier
3. Packet is decoded and put into a buffer
4. Packet is passed via buffer to application layer
I am not sure, however, and any help/clarifications would be much
appreciated.
