[Tinyos-help] URGENT: how to set the RF power for mica2 motes

We have had the same problem, but met with little success in attenuating the 
signal, though we are using MICAz, not MICA2.  You can change the power setting in the MakeXbowLocal file, but 
we've found that the range even an min TX power is too large (the motes 
still hear the occasional message at 60 feet!) We're thinking about trying a 
new antenna.
