The first thing to check would be, can you ping this IP address and get
a response? (If not, then you have network issues)
If yes, then open a web browser and type this IP address. You should see
Lantronix web manager page.

>From the left hand menu corner, click on Channel 1 and see what do you
see as Port number and baud rate.
The correct settings should be:
	Serial Port Speed 115200
	Port 10001

>From the left hand menu corner, click on Channel 2 and see what do you
see as Port number and baud rate.
The correct settings should be:
	Serial Port Speed 57600
	Port 10002

If you make changes in Steps 4 and 5, save the settings. Try programming
the Mote now and see if the problem goes away.

Subject: Fwd: [Tinyos-help] MIB600:Programmer is not responding and
maybefuse error?

Hey Andy and others,

I'm a university student working on setting up a wireless sensor network
using Crossbow's MIB600 and Micaz 2400 Radio Mote Processors.
Currently I came across a problem whereby I cannot download onto the
MIB600 and get the same error as the one Andy posted on Mon, 07 Nov
2005.

i.e.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

#############################
Command: make micaz reinstall eprb,192.168.1.100
Cygwin: C:\Crossbow\cygwin\bin
Directory: C:\Crossbow\cygwin\opt\MoteWorks\apps\tutorials\lesson_1\
Directory: /opt/MoteWorks/apps/tutorials/lesson_1
#############################

cp build/micaz/main.srec build/micaz/main.srec.out
     installing micaz binary using eprb
uisp -dprog=stk500 -dhost=192.168.1.100 --wr_fuse_h=0xd9
-dpart=ATmega128 --wr_fuse_e=ff --erase --upload
if=build/micaz/main.srec.out Error connecting to server.: 192.168.1.100
make: *** [program] Error 2

-----------------------------------------------------------------

When I try to run the above using the 'uisp' command in Cygwin I get a
message saying, 'Programmer is not responding.:192.168.1.100'

My question is namely, did you (Andy) ever get an answer to that
problem? And if so, was it indeed the error that you perceived in terms
of an error with the fuse? My setup has been working for a while now and
all of a sudden I am getting this error.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I am just hoping that as you have dealt
with this issue before, you may possess some knowledge regarding it.
Any help or light that you can shed on the situation will be of great
use to me.

Cheers,

Rodney
