[Tinyos-help] Communication between Pc and motes

Assuming you are using cygwin, but it also applies to linux...

Have you check the permissions at the port (usb or serial)?

chmod /dev/ttyS1 +rw

You have to vefify what are exactly the ports used for the usb or serial, of
course.
