[Tinyos-help] Delta and retransmissions question

Hello,

I'm trying to make sense of the retransmissions figure that the Delta application transmits in a DeltaMsg. This is an 8bit number that seems to start at 0 and just increases until it reaches 127, and then it goes back and starts increasing again. Can anyone explain what's going on? I presumed retransmissions to be the number of transmissions it took for that DeltaMsg to get through due to interference etc, am I completely wrong?
