Hello,
I am trying to install TinyOS 1.1, before that I have already installed
the files required for running TinyOS. Going through the document I first
executed the command "toscheck" which came up with following errors:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
javax.comm:
--> WARNING: Could not find the javax.comm classes.
Please ensure the java Comm API is installed correctly.
Couldn't invoke javac on test program
--> WARNING: The uisp version found by toscheck is not '20030820tinyos'.
Please
update your uisp version. The source for uisp version 20030820tinyos can
be
found in the TinyOS 1.1.0 distribution.
graphviz:
/usr/bin/dot
dot version 1.10 (Thu Jul 10 02:30:40 EDT 2003)
avr-as:
/usr/bin/avr-as
GNU assembler 2.15
--> WARNING: The avr-as version found by toscheck is not 2.13.2.1 Please
update
your avr-as version by updating your avr-binutils package.
avarice:
avr-gdb:
/usr/local/bin/avr-gdb
GNU gdb cvs-pre6.0-tinyos
toscheck completed with errors:
--> WARNING: Could not find the javax.comm classes.
Please ensure the java Comm API is installed correctly.
--> WARNING: The uisp version found by toscheck is not '20030820tinyos'.
Please
update your uisp version. The source for uisp version 20030820tinyos can
be
found in the TinyOS 1.1.0 distribution.
--> WARNING: The avr-as version found by toscheck is not 2.13.2.1 Please
update
your avr-as version by updating your avr-binutils package.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
To fix javax.comm problem I downloaded comm3.0_u1_linux.zip from SUN site
but could not find the file javax.comm.
In another note would like to know if XBOW's MIB520 USB interface board
would work with TinyOS1.1 or the later version.
Please provide pointer to get it going.
Regards,
Dhruba
