[Tinyos-help] Losing events when using HPLPowerManagement

I am using mica2dot motes, and I am seeing some strange behavior when I
enable HPLPowerManagement.  The first is that I call Timer.start with a
one-shot timer and it returns success, but the timer never fires.  The
second is that sometimes when I call SendMsg.send() it returns SUCCESS but
never signals a sendDone event.  This of course, might be due to a timer not
firing.  This behavior doesn't happen every time and seems to happen much
more often with short timer intervals.  If I disable HPLPowerManagement the
problem goes away.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how it could be fixed?
