[Tinyos-help] Can TinyOS tool chain be installed in Win XP?

Did you try nesc-1.2.7a?  From 
http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-2.x/doc/html/install-tinyos.html :

    "If you install it and it does not work (e.g., you get strange errors
    when you try to execute it), this may be due to a Cygwin version
    incompatibility: try the "Other" Windows/Cygwin RPM (1.2.7a)."

While we mostly use Linux for development, we do have one programmer running 
TinyOS 2.x on Windows XP.
