[Tinyos-help] Custom Sensor

Hello all

I've a general question about the available Wireless sensor network modules
-I think they are called motes??-

Is designing a custom sensors for an available mote -let's say the MICA2
-straight forward?

And if so, how to get/set data from the sensor? Does it has an address or
something? And how to specify it when designing?
