Have you compiled the Listen application?
Look into the Listen application directory and see if you have only .java files or .java and .class files. If you only have .java files you need to compile the java tools. There must be some Makefile under tinyos-1.x/tools/java/net to compile all the java tools.

 I m trying to test SerialForwarder and I am testing it in following way:

 I am just using two motes for testing:

 --------------------------------------
 Mote ID: Port: Application
 ===================
 Mote0: COM4: TOSBase
 Mote1: COM5: SurgeTelos

 Each time i try to run I am getting following error. It should be a small problem but I dont know how to fix it?

 Sumit at superComp /opt/tinyos-1.x/tools/java/net/tinyos/script
 $ java net.tinyos.tools.Listen -comm serial at COM4:telosb
 Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/tinyos/tools/List

 Seems I am either missing something in path or missing something in Java SDK. I am right now having a package Java SDK 1.4.1_2, which I got with MoteIV Setup CD.

 Please tell how should I diagnose.

 Regards,
 Sumit
