[Tinyos-help] fork_copy error in cygwin

Hi

I searched through the tinyos-help archives for this error. I found a couple of users who faced the same problem buut saw no replies as to how this can be resolved. Can anyone help? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the new install also fails. 

The exact error message when I load cygwin is as follows

      1 [main] perl 56780 fork_copy: linked dll data/bss pass 0 failed, 0x3E2000
..0x3E2370, done 0, windows pid 56820, Win32 error 487
