[Tinyos-help]: Anyone know the mean of the variable "TableEntry *gpCurrentParent" in MultiHopLEPSM.nc.

Dear all:
  I am studying the routing protocol MultiHop in tinyos 1.x.
  the main file is: MultiHopLEPSM.nc
  but so confuzed when saw the following vars declared:
    TableEntry *gpCurrentParent;
  uint8_t gbCurrentHopCount;
  int16_t gCurrentSeqNo;
  uint16_t gwEstTicks;
  uint32_t gUpdateInterval;
  So could anyone who is familiar with this protocol give me some advice about the mean of these vars?
   
  BTW,  it is really very dificult to study this file, so I would really appreciate your help if you would like give me some links or documents to help my study on the Multihop protocol.
