[Tinyos-help] .ihex file????

Hi all,
I had mailed earlier about an avrdude error.. but all is working well. I 
had built all the test applications and can build the "ihex" file 
successfully. I hope we have to flash the "ihex" file only.. if any 
other,, plzz tel me....

IF .ihex, then i am able to write it to the flash but the applications 
are not working. I am just wondering whether the platform definitions is 
right or not as I have built a new platform on basis of "MICA" mote.. 
just the difference is the port at which the LED's connect?? If anyone 
has worked on such a different platform or by defining his own platform, 
can you please tel me how can we test the authenticity of the hardware 
platform definition???
