[Tinyos-help] Boomerang versus T2, a few questions

Hello
We have been working with Boomerang using the sensorion sensors on TMoteSky
and
an external PCB (with a processor, accelerometer and a digital sensor)
connected via RS232 (with the arbitration code example that is in the
support site).
Now we need to connect a 3 axis accelerometer (MMA7260) and a digital sensor
that generates a square wave (with 5ms length at a variable frequency
between 30Hz-120Hz) directly to the sensor node (to simplify the project).
For the accelerometer we thought to use the ADC lines in the expansion
connector. For the other sensor what should be a good processor line option,
taking in account that what we would like is generate an interrupt whenever
the pulse happens? If possible it would be better to avoid the user button
line. Do you know of any drivers for this kind of hardware?
Another point is that because we (in other projects) are thinking in going
with T2, we thought moving this project to T2 too. In terms of stability,
hardware sensor support and RS232 arbitration, how does T2 compares to
Boomerang? And what about low duty cycle communication support?
Best regards,
André Rodrigues
