Dear all,

We would like to announce the public release of a new multi-hop
communication stack for TinyOS 2.x developed at EPFL in the context of
the SensorScope project. This project aims at developing a large-scale
distributed environmental measurement system centered on a wireless
sensor network. Although this communication stack was developed for
environmental monitoring, it can be used as a basis for any data
gathering application.

Our code currently supports ACKs, multi-hopping and a synchronized
duty-cycling MAC layer. It is known to work on TinyNode and TMote Sky
platforms, and compiles fine against the latest stable version of TinyOS
(v2.0.2). We successfully used the code in a few real deployments.

The code is available on the following webpage:

http://sensorscope.epfl.ch/index.php/Network_Code

Comments are of course welcome, but keep in mind that this is only the
first public release.

Cheers,
