[Tinyos-help] Is it possible to change the spreading sequence in CC2420 for MicaZ or TelosB?

I wonder if it is possible to change the spreading sequence in CC2420 for
MicaZ or TelosB
in the program or not. As we know, the transceiver CC2420 is
802.15.4compliant. But can we
modify the physical layer parameters such as changing the spreading sequence
to some sequence
other than those specified in the standard? Or can we change the sequence to
another sequence
of different length? Thanks for your information.
