[Tinyos-help] [CTP] Use of link estimator footer in 4bitle

Hi,

Why does LinkEstimatorP in 4bitle tack on a footer? I can't see it
being used for anything on the receiving end. Is it so motes using the
other link estimator can inter-operate?
