Its neither in miliseconds or microsends.  It depends on the platform
your running on.  Take a look at the comments in the SysTimerM.nc file
for the platform you are working with.  I assume its either a mica2 or
mica2dot, so you would need to look at the file in:

$TOSROOT/tos/platform/mica2/SysTimerM.nc
