[Tinyos-help] BareSendMsg and AMSend

Hi all,

I'm trying to develop an application to send data to an UART port.
I downloaded some examples and I have seen that the BareSendMsg interface is
used.
I installed in my system tinyOs 2.x and in this version is not present the
BareSendMsg interface.
I also have seen that AMSend has the same methods of BareSendMsg
Is BareSendMsg "the parent" of AMSend?
