[Tinyos-help] link layer implicit used component

Hi,

I am usually asking the question :

which are the components representing the link layer.
Should I specify them by my self when I implement a high level application
or they will be used implicitly (something monitored by the TinyOS it self).

I hope I well explained my problem.
