This is most likely a hardware problem with this specific IRIS Mote. I suggest that you return the faulty unit back to Crossbow for repair/replacement. You will need to obtain an RMA# prior to return by contacting techsupport at xbow.com.

Hi,
I have mote which only works when connected to the mib520.
I installed blink on it and the lights blink correctly when connected to the mib520 but when I take it off the programming board and switch it on nothing happens.
I don't have problems with other iris motes running the same programs.
Has anyone experienced this problem? I believe it is a hardware problem and need to return it to crossbow, is this correct? I've found a similar case in the mailinglist archives with a micaz.
